Jadarber is a brand new music series in cooperation with Reykjavík Art Museum starting this fall. There you will find experimental music with no boundaries to other art forms, as well as experiments with the concert form. Founders are Tinna and Gudmundur Steinn Gunnarsson, composer. Tinna´s solo CD Granit Games was released in 2007 by Bad Taste Records (Smekkleysa). The CD contains Icelandic piano music from the Icelandic folksong to the laptop, pieces commissioned and performed by Tinna. The composers are Jón Leifs, Mist Thorkelsdóttir, Thorsteinn Hauksson, Áskell Másson, Karólína Eiríksdóttir, Hilmar Thórdarson, Steingrímur Rohloff and Kolbeinn Einarsson. Cover design by Rósa Hrund Kristjánsdóttir. Granit Games is available on Bad Taste Records and Gogoyoko.

Prepared Piano is an invention by composer John Cage. He started putting all kinds of different objects into the piano in-between the strings and thereby changing its sound.
