An open workshop at the Dark Music Days festival on Jan 31 at 3 pm in Nordurljós Hall at Harpa Music Hall, where the audience is invited to be flies on the wall in the middle of the process of creating a new operatic work, with the working title UR_ The composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir and director Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson will work with members of the Caput ensemble and performers. The world premiere will take place in Theater Trier in Germany in September 2015 and later at the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival 2015, in collaboration with the Norwegian National Opera. The work will receive its Icelandic premiere during the 2016 Dark Music Days
